Someone mentioned that they had seen and or bought sunscreen wipes. Does anyone know where you can get them? Going to need tons, going in June! 36 days to be exact! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

wallmart carries them too along with the insect wipes (i dab them around our neck and ears seem to help). if you like me have yourself or others in your family that burn to a crisp consider buying the biggest bottle of water babies sunscreen (superhigh spf and it does not come out in the water), we've even taken to bringing a small spray bottle that we dillute the water babies in (1 part water baby to 2 parts water), shake it well and after you wash your hair (but before you style it) spray liberaly on your scalp-it will save you from a sunburned head. we bring a second spray bottle filled with club soda-this is to be use to wash hair after swimming-it will remove the chlorine from your hair (unless you like the dried out and greenish look :cold:.

just some advise from a fair skinned strawberry blond.

enjoy your trip!

My two cents on the sunscreen issue:

While at WDW in February, I coated both kids in Factor 45 suncreen. Within hours they both had rashes everywhere I put the lotion, from head to toe. I stopped at the first aid station to ask for some Benadryl Allergy, and a woman in line behind me said she was a nurse. She suggested I use factor 15 sunscreen and reapply often because lotions higher than 15 can irritate children's skin and aren't that much more effective than Factor 15. The lady at the first aid station seconded her opinion. I changed sunscreens and no more rash.

We used Waterbabies wipes last summer and I have to tell you, they are kind of gross. They get just as much stuff on your hands as either spray or regular sunscreen does. And my 3 year old didn't like them any better than regular sunscreen.

they were also very expensive.

We're going with the spray this year.

Hmmm, I don't know about the wipes being gross, I haven't tried them, but I just wanted to comment on the spray sunscreen. DH and I used the spray last year on our St. Thomas vacation because he shaves his head and we needed to protect his bald scalp. The Neutrogena spray sunscreen worked really well. It was a little greasy, but soaked in after a while and left our skin really nice and conditioned, plus it smelled GREAT, like oranges. Just my two cents on the spray sunscreen. :teeth:
