Sun block?

We are going to Disney at the end of the month,and someone said to me yesterday that we would need sun block? Will we? Thanks for any info!

I am very fair skinned and I use sunblock in Florida no matter what time of year it is. If you tend to burn, I'd take it. Heck, I'd take it no matter what...just in case!

I'm not sure if your question means that you haven't traveled to Florida before, so pardon me if my explanation seems "flip."

1. It can be very hot in late October. When we were there last year at Halloween time, it was sunny and in the high 80's-low 90's every day.

2. The sun is hotter/different the further south you go. You should always use sunblock anyway, but I would especially think you would want to use it in Florida.

Take sunblock! Don't forget the parts in your hair if you aren't wearing hats. I always use coppertone sport spray. It doesn't get your hands greasy, and you can spray those hair parts easily!

Bullfrog has a spray too that we love!! So much easier than the cream, and we were in Hawaii in August and didn't even get a TAN the stuff worked so well!

And yes, Dh's nose and ears burned a little a few years back in florida in October

Heck, I use sunblock up here when outside in the winter! Surgery #3 for skin cancer coming up at the end of this month. All on my face and neck. I have a cousin over on the Gulf Coast of Florida who uses sunblock year round down there.

Thank you all very much! I just wasnt sure the only time I have been to florida is in the summer month's! My DH and I do not burn,but I wanted to be on the safe side for my children. Thank you all!

I use sunblock every day (even in winter) and I live in MA! I would never dream of going anywhere without it regardless of time of year.

My favorite is Bullfrog. I haven't found anything that works as well as that brand...and I've tried all of them.

It's always a good idea to wear sunblock, but it's especially a good idea to wear it in Florida no matter what time of year it is, whether you burn or not.
