I haven't been to Disney yet, but I've been doing a lot of research like the rest of you! Summit Plummet looks so tall and scary to me, I'd debating whether I should let my 9 and 11 yo kids go on it. I've read that you reach speeds of 60mph. I sit in my office near the interstate and look out there thinking "that's how fast my kids will be going in their swimsuits".
Rationally I've never heard of anyone being seriously injured except for maybe a bad wedgie. I know that Disney wouldn't even have the attraction if it was dangerous.
Any veterans want to share their experiences with me? Personally, I'm scared of heights and know I won't go on something high without being strapped in! If I let them go, Dad will have to take them!
