I could explain it but here it is. Note the max discount for campsites is 20%.

I just rebooked our Premium campsite for the first week of May 2026 and saved $332. :cool1: Will cancel the first one (same dates) later today. Yeah I know I could have tried to apply to the original...

Maybe I'll get a golf cart for a few days with that savings. :scratchin

PS - there was chatter on the DIS Resorts board (actually Discount Codes and Rates sub-board) for about the last week for summer discounts. There may be other offers so go check

Also there is a 2 nights free and 2 park days free as well. Do the math. Even though we don’t need to the extra park days, the 2 free nights ended up being cheaper than the room discount but about $100. We may just hit up Epcot in the evening on arrival day then.

Oldest DD graduates nursing school in May and thus i left it up to her on where to go for a celebration. We haven't back to the Fort since the 2020 Dismeet, mainly due to her college and family obligations and Disney pricing, but when she asked i went to looking.

Spotted Ed's wisdom of a post and looked into it.

We priced the 15% discount and then grabbed the 2 free night and 2 free park days. For the 4 of us this made the price near $300 cheaper (not including squirrel feed) and 2 more days in the parks than we were planning to do. We will likely do Seaworld one of the days, maybe CoCo Beach or something else the other day, and use the park ticket to go back for an evening show at two of the parks.

So, June return to FW it is.

Congrats to Em! Looks like you brought her up right if Disney is her go to graduation trip.

Just a reminder, Donna is a nurse recruiter.

So I glad I just read this! Thank you so much for the info. Just saved $400 on our May trip!

@mom2lillie, I saved hundreds on my May trip too (first week of May).

I wanted to help us all to save some $$$ on campsite costs so we can spend MORE on dining, more tix days in parks, or merch. Everyone has their own flex (what they would spend the campsite savings on) but if you're happy, then I'm happy.

Have a great trip when you go and please come back here and tell us how it went.

If you're going to be there in June, @tiggerdad, I feel like it's my responsibility to warn the buzzards, the squirrels, the raccoons, the possums, the nutria, the gators, the turkeys, and the ponies in the (new) TCD barn to WATCH OUT for the 5er from Mississippi in the month after my visit.

PS - I would warn the Yankees from north of the Mason-Dixon line but they prolly want to come down south and get a sunburn no matter who warns them to use SPF50 :confused3

@bama_ed , if you are warning the animals just know the only thing you gotta warn them about is I might take them back home to deep dark Mississippi with me on the farm.

Oh, and I only use 10W-30. That SPF50 stuff just leads to valves clattering and uneven tans.
