Summer Moonlight Magic

Have early registration emails gone out for the May 15th early booking window? I have an eligible stay that overlaps with the Typhoon Lagoon Moonlight Magic event but have not received an email with anything to attempt the early registration for the event yet. I know the first Moonlight Magic events this year had a very short turn around time from the registration emails being sent to when the window opened but I guess I assumed events after that one would have a larger window of email going out before registration opened as they had sort of worked the schedule out. Just curious if anyone has gotten the email yet.

Emails will not go out until a day prior to when the early registration period opens. Eligible members have until 11:59 pm eastern on May 11th to make/modify eligible resort reservations, so emails can't go out until after that date.

I have a reservation, but am waitlisted for different room/resort (the waitlist is not set to replace anything). If I am able to get into a moonlight magic, and the waitlist comes through, am I able to cancel the original reservation without losing moonlight magic?

Based on their terms I interpret it that it could (not "would") cancel your Moonlight Magic - it' somewhat ambiguous.

You'd be on safer footing if you set it to modify/replace (which would keep the same resort reservation number), but I'm not quite sure - you can possibly interpret it either way.

My stay during the summer event is on a resale membership. Is it correct that the member number I enter at registration is my direct membership though? Different memberships / use years...

If it's different use years, I believe you should enter the member number of the use year of your actual reservation or it will not be able to confirm your eligibility.

I have changed my reservation no less than 5 times and Im still checking daily to see if something else comes along. But I told myself I have to make a firm choice by the 10th

It’s so hard to make a decision! There are too many choices and too much movement on the waitlist/via stalking On the west coast it’s easy because I have my favorite and then a backup lol

I literally got my waitlist for those dates that came through today - hoping it doesn't mess with my link. I have a feeling that a number of people cancelled when the MNSSHP dates started later than prior year. We were hoping to do both, but can't stay down for that long.

Tomorrow, early access starts on May 15th, and the link should be coming in an email which I've been told would be sent today.

I just popped on here to see if anyone had gotten the links yet - we've been members for five years, but this is our first attempt to sign up for Moonlight Magic - so I'm really grateful for the info/relieved I didn't miss an email!
