Summer horror movie marathons, do you do them? And if so, do you watch them by yourself or with loved ones?

I watch a horror movie every week, at least one, sometimes more. I don't have enough unseen to have a marathon LOL. I do agree, the new crop has been excellent recently, with more coming.

I was banned by my husband from watching them early on in our marriage. He didn't like getting beat up in his sleep. I am prone to night terrors and horror movies always trigger them. I honestly have no recollection of the dreams in the morning.

I watch horror movies routinely so its hard to say where a marathon ends and another begins. I don't like movies that involve real people that are evil or anything too gruesome but everything else is fair game. I particularly like ghosty things and the classic Hammer Studios movies.

I watch horror films all of the time. They're my favourite type of film to watch, and I often stick them on in the background when I'm doing other things. And horror film marathons are a regular thing for me too. If a film i want to watch is part of a bigger franchise, I will always watch the entire franchise as part of a marathon especially if it's one i haven't seen in a while.

While we're on horror movies, does anyone have any recommendations? Especially any faves that may be underrated or not as widely known? Doesn't need to be new.

One of my all time faves, but I'm not sure how well known it is, is Dog Soldiers. A low budget yet brilliant gem of a British film, I could watch it all the time (even had it on today) and is ridiculously quotable. Not sure if it's managed to cross the pond to the States though?

Have you seen Strange Darlings?
