Summer heat!

Taking my frogg togg towel. Leaving the park at noon to hang out at the pool then go back to the park later in the evening when its cooled off.

Drink plenty of free ice water from the counter service locations and put propel packets in the water.

Wear light colored clothes if possible. Start touring as early as possible. Take the afternoon break. We usually either swim in the pool and/or take showers in the afternoon. Then, after feeling a bit refreshed, we hit the park in the evening for a bit..............or we just "chill out" at the resort or get a meal off property (we have a car with us). Don't forget to wear a hat! We also have some 5 dollar battery fans to use.

take bottled water and refill with water from a CS and add crystal light...yummy :) plus, my frogg toggs..

We have gone to WDW in Aug for the past couple of years. I do not do well with severe heat. So, I took 2 Chill Towels, sewed them together, and made pockets in them. I wet the towels and then pack the little pockets with ice. I then added velcro at various points so that I can wear is around shoulders or waist, or whetever. I made one for each of us. We look completely ridiculous, and everyone stares at us, but I don't care at all. I just keep refilling the ice, and I am cool all day, even in August in FL.
Alternatively, you can buy a real "cooling vest: at a medical supply store, but the ones that actually work can run $300 + , and they can be heavy.
Have fun!
