Summer fireworks

I've never been to Disneyland in the summer and I tried to google if there was a history somewhere recorded on this subject. How often to do you think they cancel fireworks in August/summer? We have five park days this summer, one of those evenings I am going to try to get the WOC Dessert party.

What are the odds that there will be no fireworks at all?

I don't think August is windy..that's normally October, but you never know so far out. I've seen people suggest to try and see Fireworks or shows with them at the beginning of your trip. So that way if they get cancelled, you have more days to try.
