Now that bathing suits and spring/summer clothes are hitting the stores I'm trying to slowly compile our vacation wardrobe. I know, yes, its waaay early. But between 3 of the 4 of my family being in my sisters June wedding and all that entails (dresses, tuxes, hotels, hosting bridal shower, etc) and putting in our new backyard this summer and not to mention our trip expenses, doing it this way will help will definitely help the summer budget!

So what should I expect for Summer evenings? I know at DL in the summer we usually do change to pants or a light sweater in the evening when we are staying late. We will be there July 21-Aug 5 (4 nights of that being a cruise). Planning tank tops or t-shirts and shorts during the day at WDW. But do we need light sweaters or anything for the evenings? Maybe a windbreaker? I already have ponchos on the list. We will be at the parks primarily mornings and late nights.

Thanks!!

Shorts and t-shirts are fine. The temp probably won't make it below 80-with high humidity-before you make it out of the parks before the night. My definition of a 'cool' night in June was temps in the 70's before we left Epcot for the night and that was rare. Cool is a relative term, that meant I wasn't sweating profusely walking out after Illuminations. Ponchos are fine, you're not likely to need them in the evening unless it's stormy-most of the rain is in the afternoon. I prefer to get wet, its that hot and humid. I've never worn pants or a sweater at Disney in summer. I brought them the first trip, never again for a summer vacation. Disneyland is just as hot in the day, but the humidity is usually much lower so nighttime is cooler because of that.

I was there the last week in June last year and it was still hot and humid at night...we would usually wear the same as we did during the day and we were never cold (except when going in the AC!)

Happy Planning!

Summer evenings when days are in the 90's usually will drop into the mid to low 80's. They may remain muggy, though. You will be fine in your day clothes for nighttime park touring, but you may want a light jacket or sweater for the airconditioned shows and restaurants.

As others have said, it stayed hot on our summer trip. Even during e-night at MK until 2am it was HOT! The only thing I encountered was that because it was soooo hot/sticky during the afternoon, if we stopped for lunch somewhere inside, I was freezing before we could get out of the ac. I threw a sweatshirt in my backpack for those meals/shows where I knew it would be extended time in the ac.

I agree with the OPs the only thing I would add, is the a/c in places is out of control. I carried something light in my backpack to put on during some of the inside shows,
