Me too got a combined $500 off our 7 night stay at Coronado in july for a standard room. When from originally $1590 to $1080 through orbitz!

Just booked a ticketless package with regular dining plan at CSR standard room with 25% off (150$/night). I wanted CBR but only Pirate rooms were available. I also checked AKL and it was 232$/night for pool view (only type available with discount).

I agree check Orbitz, I saved a bunch with the spring deal going brought Orbitz. Plus you can use the Orbitz code for an additional 15% off.

They had rooms Disney didn't and I didn't need to upgrade my room.

So only saved $50 don't get that? But we are now CBR preferred room whatever that is. We were at POR. Garden view. I hope I upgraded a bit? No time to check have to get into work!

FYI, there may be more availability at Orbitz than Disney now (weird I know)...the Disney site doesn't list Coronado Springs at all, but Orbitz had rooms there, at the discounted rate, PLUS the current Orbitz code so check it out!

Finally got through after 1 1/2 hours on hold and only saved $102.32 at Pop ..I guess anything is better than nothing. Was hoping for free dining. Wish they would bring back free dining for end of August like a few years ago

Hey Java...that would be an upgrade in terms of the location of your room to the main building (that's what preferred gets you). Preferred rooms cost more than garden views so that would be why your discount wasn't that high...you are getting a more expensive room. Did you want to end up at CBR? I only ask because lots of people love POR (nothing against CBR, it was my second choice) , and if you stuck with your garden room you would probably save quite a bit with the summer rates and Orbitz code.

When I called at 7:15am CSR was the only moderate with standard rooms available with the discount. I paid 150$/night (25% discount) for 7 nights July 18-July25.

You should consider booking through orbitz and getting the extra 15% off unless ur doing the dinning plan

I considered it but I wanted a ticketless package since my youngest doesn't pay for the last time (she will turn 3 during our stay) and we have many character meals planned.
