I'm planning my 2015 vacation! I'm looking at dates, seeing when we would be able to go. I was looking at the 2014 crowd calendar for June and July and everyday was a 9..So for those of you who always go during the summer, how are the crowds? Are there any weeks between June July and August that you would recommend or definitely not recommended? I figured 4th of July would be busy, so I'm avoiding that. And I see that the end of August is a good time to go! Any other times?

We may not be going in the summer...but just in case that's what ends up working out..!

Thanks!! :)

We have gone during the middle of July...........would not ever, if at all possible, not go again at this time. The big touring groups made touring insane!

We have gone during the 2nd week of August and the later we stayed in August the better the crowds were. Much better than July as far as NO big tour groups, but it was still summer crowded.

If I had to go in the summer again, I would choose late August. Otherwise, I would avoid the summer if at all possible. We loved touring in early May and in Oct. We loved Oct so much 2013 we will go again in Oct 2014. Crowds are much better and the weather is so much more enjoyable.

I always use EasyWdw to help pick dates but I also like the site below. First week of June/middle-end of August would probably be the best bet crowd wise for the summer. My favorite time to go is 1st week of December but I hate hot weather. This trip we are going 1st week of June. Not my ideal choice but the way it worked out this year... and ultimately I am always just excited to be at Disney World!!

The earlier in June the better; We've been the week after Memorial Day for a couple of years and the crowds have been very manageable. We are going the second week after Memorial Day this year. A lot of the northeastern schools don't get out until later in June.

As early in June or as late in August the better.

We did a trip from 19-27 June this last summer. I think crowds were a 8-9 every day and we went expecting the worst.

Honestly the weather was not as hot as when we have gone in September before and because we planned for large crowds we had no problems.

We did rope drop and had done everything we wanted to do in the park by 1 PM. We left every day at 1 and went back to the hotel for pool/nap time.

We had dinner reservations each night in the park and arrived sometime between 5-7. Usually after dinner it was getting dark and most rides were walk-on. A few times we hopped over to a park that had EMH and stayed late.

Overall it was one of our best trips ever :thumbsup2

Very beginning of June is not bad at all. We've been twice during the first week, and it did get busier every day. But the first part of the week (like Jun 1-4) was some of the lowest crowds I've ever personally seen (we can never go during truly low crowds). Even the end of the week wasn't as bad as Spring Break or Christmas though.

We have been the last 4 times we went in June...(see dates in signature)
Its HOT! But plenty of water and the occasional AC attraction and you are good.
Crowd wise, its manageable. We were huge fastpass users. ALWAYS WENT AT ROPE DROP. Cant stress that enough. You will get more done before noon than you will the rest of the day. Check the sites to see which parks are recommended, and use that info.
Hit the Headliners first thing, then move on from there. Midday break to get out of the heat, back in after 4PM. Make your FP+ reservations for the evening, so you can ride some headliners at night. You wont need them in the morning because you make it there for ROPE DROP.
The key is to get there early, drink plenty of water, and get out by 1PM.
