Summer concert fun! What are your hot tix?

I've had tickets to see Coldplay and Dave Matthews band this summer for awhile now. Rick Springfield was just announced for our State Fair in August, so I'll be seeing him too!!!

I just saw the Toadies, Blue October, Papa Roach, Shinedown and Korn at Buzzfest last Sunday. I would love to go to Mayhem Fest but they aren't coming to Houston so unless I feel a roadtrip coming on I have no plans right now.

Where did you get Verizon lawn tickets for $10 for Aerosmith? They're giving me $35 for singles and $24.75 each in a 4-pack.

Live Nation is selling $10 lawn tix to some of the shows this summer. I'm not sure if Aerosmith is one of them, but the others go on sale Saturday at midnight. I think it's a one-day only sale, too. At least that's the way it was last year when I got tix for Journey/Cheap Trick/Heart.

We just saw Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction in Austin this last Tuesday! They were both fantastic!!

I saw a quiz of why NIN and Janes Addiction are touring together with the majority of the responses saying "We'll be able to call it the NINJA tour"

OMG! We were at that show!!! It was amazing. Perry Ferrell was hurt, but you'd never know it the way he was prancing around. Loved it!!!

We have 3 we've got tix for this summer. Chicago with Earth Wind and Fire at Summerfest, Tom Jones at Ravinia and American Idols Live (with DD's). Stevie Wonder with John Legend go on sale tomorrow and I'm seriously debating that one as well.

Got tickets for Def Leppard/Poison. Seen them both several times, but seeing them together was too much to pass up.

Blink 182 is playing our area the night before we leave for Florida. I'll definitely get tickets for that one.

Well I've been parading around for a while now, happily informing anyone who'll listen that DH got me tix for the Def Leppard/Cheap Trick/Poison concert in Charlotte for my birthday this summer. Then that mon o' mine calls from work today to tell me he's going to get us tix to see Aerosmith/ZZ Top this summer too! Both venues are the VErizon Amphitheatre, but the Aerosmith concert are the "lawn-only" tix for $10. That means, bring a blanket and a cooler and mostly we'll see them on the jumbotron while we listen...but how cool are those concerts??

So what/who are you planning to see this summer?

Sunday...WMMR B-BQ....PAPA ROACH , Saliva, ZZ top and a few others. Also have Crue Fest 2 coming up in July.

We're going to the Sonfest concerts at Carowinds(Charlotte NC) There are a bunch of Christian rock bands playing including Toby Mac and Third Day. I can't wait! We saw Toby Mac last year at the NC State Fair and he was AWESOME!

Yup, that's it! Dh just told me. Sale ends tomorrow though.

Why on earth can't they do that here for the Verizon? If they did I'd have had tickets to George Strait and Brad Paisley and maybe Toby Keith just to see Trace.

Lawn Tickets for George were 40 bucks a piece. Tickets for Brad go on sale in 10 hours. I'm hoping they're a little less, cause I'd really like to see him. Well we'll find out shortly whether we're going or not.

I haven't been to any concerts since i got married.
