My Dh is staying in the Villas of Summer Bay right now ( I had to return to the cold north to go back to work). The drive is longer than Vistana Villages and Cypress Point. ( If you look on a map, it's really close to the interseciton of 27 and 192)
I was really surprised with how much this resort has grown since our first visit, around 1998. He is in a villa, which is the smaller and with lower quality furnishings. His villa is in bldg. 106 and one of the newer ones. It was clean and well maintained. Each group of condos and villas surround a pool, some are more tropical and others and geared for kids with interacitve fountains. I was really surprised to see what looks like a small water park in the lake. There are large blow up slides, climbing mountains and islands made for playing on. There is an additional fee per day and also a family pass for the whole week for 150.00. I don't have the info here right now, but I'll be sure to post next Wed. after we get back from the Daytona 500.
I don't have pictures , but If you have any other questions I'll be happy to answer.
