Summer Bay or Silver Lake Resort and Sky Auction

Both are nice places...I think Summer Bay is quite a larger resort

My parents used Sky Auction for Summer Bay at the end of January. They got a 2 bedroom condo for $254 for 7 nights. They said it was a very nice place and they liked it alot. It's an RCI Gold Crown resort I think they said, so these places are usually pretty good because they have to maintain their standing. It's over close to 27 & 192. So, its close to lots of stuff also.

If you are going in March, Summer Bay won't work for this auction. It says they only have availability for April I think. Could you change your dates??

unfortuntely no i can not change my dates. i am in school full time.

Silver Lake is the closest to WDW by far - it is only a couple of miles from AK.

I can't compare the two, but I can tell you that Silver Lake is wonderful. We've stayed their twice, once renting and once swapping in with RCI and loved it both times. We had the 2 bedroom unit that sleeps 8/8 and it was HUGE!! I use a wheelchair and had tons of room to get around. We will actually be staying there for part of our June trip this year. Have fun.

I have stayed at both and Silver Lake wins hands down. It's very close to DW going in the back way.
