Summer 2024 Direct Incentives

Reading the small print on this one...it looks like it has been updated? And same as last cycle? (This one is without welcome home, which had a separate URL.) Is an extension of an existing incentive cycle typical?

"Developer Credit starts on June 25, 2024 and all Tours must be completed by September 30, 2024 when the offer expires."

ETA looks like Welcome Home is the same, too...

I think OKW had just the one price table, with no welcome home offers.. So these mostly sold out resort offers may be the same. Still could get to 140 for AKV though with MB! I still would go resale when you can get it for $100 per point or lower, unless you really want to get direct benefits from the AKV contract

Not quite...how about $160 (assuming existing member)? Although would Welcome Home or MB apply? That could get you down to $140.

Similar incentives for SSR and BLT, but BLT has a much higher starting price.

Interesting…

I am inclined to stick to my Riviera contract, although I actually love SSR and AKL. Everything tempts me. 😂
Ive never paid attention to BLT direct standard pricing.. oof. Now I see why people say these $130 to $150 BLT resales are an amazing deal.
Makes me still so happy we got a $120/100 pt contract back in February! I would have loved to have a bit more points at BLT, but oof those incentives are sad.

SSR would be $135 (after MB) for 250 points with some pretty low dues, right? Is this the new OKE 300 points from last promo cycle? Not as low as $115 though.

$2035 per year dues. Overall cost per year til expiration $3160

Im over here chanting "poly" "poly" "poly"

Do we think this is it.. no Poly this go round?
I’d love to even get a teaser at this point lol but I think since no units have been added to the timeshare, nor the POS been updated, we likely won’t hear anything for a little while yet. Hopefully only a few more weeks though 🤞🏼

I still think Poly will go on sale sometime later this summer, once the Cabins have officially opened in a couple weeks. These incentives go through Sept. 30th, so that feels like a very long time to wait.

Smarter people than me on the boards, who have been around DVC far longer, have speculated that as well.

Of course, I am biased because my Riviera contract closes Sept. 14, unless we decide to rescind in the next couple days and resign closer to the end of this incentive round. It is interesting to me they kept current selling resorts exactly the same.

New to DVC, so they sometimes release something new before current incentives expire?

VDH went on sale on May 2nd, 2023 for existing owners which was in the middle of an incentive cycle (which ran for other resorts through May 29th, 2023). Interestingly, it opened for new owners on May 30th, 2023. I wonder if this is a possible Poly timeline, just in Sept?

Earlier this year, a new incentive cycle kicked off Jan 30th and Cabins went on sale Feb. 1st for new members, existing members Feb. 27th.

Back in 2022, VGF went on sale in early March, in the middle of an incentive cycle for Riv which ran through the end of March 2022.

Someone smarter than me will no doubt chime in in the morning, but at least we can look at the last few resorts for any possible patterns.
