Suites

The Disney webpage says that suite types are not available through online booking. Has anyone ever stayed in one of these or know what they're like, or even how much the rate is for them? (Talking about in POP Century or even in any of the other Value resorts- we're looking to stay as cheaply as possible) Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you're looking to stay in a suite room, you're not going to get one on a budget. I may be wrong, but I don't think any of the value resorts have suites.

Unless I'm mistaken, the only suites you'll find are at the deluxe resorts.

If you're looking for a place that's more like a home and less like a hotel room, you may want to go on the DVC boards and try to rent points from a member and stay at one of the Home Away From Home resorts.

We're going five adults and one child in December and had to look at suites to accomodate all of us in one room. We ended up deciding on a cabin at Fort Wilderness.

Suites are not available at value resorts. I believe there is one at CS, but I don't know how many people it would sleep. You might want to take a look at allearsnet.com. Yes, suites are at deluxes, but they can be expensive. I think the starting prices for a 1 bedroom (sleeping 6) is in the neighborhood of $600 or more with 2 bdrms running in the neighborhood of $1,200 or more. BWI has a deluxe CL room that is about $500 that can sleep six. It's not a suite, but it's very spacious with 2 queens and fold out sofa. Suites at the deluxes come with concierge services, yet another reason for the price. They tend have better views as well.

How many people do you have? What kind of budget are you looking at? Maybe this can help us point you in the right direction. FW Cabins & renting points from DVC is definitely options worth considering.

Yes - Coronado Springs have a few suites, which are basically two reg. rooms opened up by a connecting door.

the cheaper alternative is 2 connecting value rooms.

Pop century is a little cheaper than the All stars - it is the taxes. PC is 11.5% and the all stars are 13%

There are no suites in value resorts. Any suite you'd find at WDW will be very expensive... several hundred dollars per night. I would recommend two connecting rooms or a villa in a DVC resort if you need a kitchen. But the villas are quite expensive too. So probably the cheapest will be connecting rooms at a value resort.
