Suite price vs 2 rooms?

Can anyone tell me the price of suites at the Disney hotels vs the price of two rooms? The days of one hotel room with our three teens are over, but we would really like to stay on-site. Thanks

It's been a while since we priced it out - then it was much cheaper to do two rooms than to get a suite. (this was at DL hotel) The CM we talked with back then said most suites were set up more as hospitality suites for business meetings than for larger families.

I understand that in the recent Paradise Pier remodel they included more suites though - so I'd definitely make a few calls and see what you find out.
