What do you all use to identify your suitcase so that you dont get muddled at the carousel and its easy to spot.

I only ask because one of our suitcases was mistakenly taken in Feb and we were left with the other persons. Both our suitcases were identical and had identical ribbon that I'd placed round the handle.

I've now bought a weird coloured suitcase which hopefully no one else will have. I was thinking of painting a big white daisy on the front just to make sure!!!:p

We have those webbing straps, with our surname which is very unusual, woven into them. Although lots of people have the straps, the name makes identifying our luggage very easy and as they lock, offers a little extra security.

Like you, I've ditched the black/blue/dark green cases and have replaced them with bright red - I've hardly seen any on the carousel. People must think we're colour blind or have no taste but we got a bit fed up with all the exercise heaving other peoples suitcases about thinking they were ours.

Whatever idea you come up with - someone else will have already thought of it. I did use Hazard Tape - you know the yellow and black stripped sticky tape once. This was OK on the handle, but peeled off on the case itself.

Hi

We have tied a Sainsbury's bag round the handle's of our cases in the past! I know it sounds a bit daft, but we have never had any trouble identifying our cases yet.

We bought some bright green ribbon with pictures of ducks on it - tied around the suitcase handles you could see 'em a mile off!

My daughter and I bought the bright red webbed straps from the Disney shop in Florida, they have Mickey's face all over them. I thought when we first used them that everybody would have them but after 3 trips to Florida I have only ever seen them on our luggage.

Maxine I'm with you I have red luggage but its not bright red a bit duller but generallly very easy to spot Mum and Dad have Black with a green trim I just hope they are near by to mine on the carousel!

The only problem will be when everyon decides to change to red to spot it easier

We used to tie red, white and blue ribbons on the handles of our suitcases, which worked well.
We have now got some blue straps with Mickey heads all over them;) We just got them last year, hopefully nobody else will have them.

I bought some bright emerald and yellow striped electrical tape and wrapped it around the handles (where they meet the body of the case so that your hand doesn't come into contact with it when lifting the case) and it cost the grand sum of 14p and no problems spotting it - I still have plenty left should it start to come off!!

we bought the cast member luggage labels from a friend so we are using them this trip

last trip we had purple cases

this year theyre blue

I get some floristry ribbon from the nearest flower shop and tie great big bows roung the handle of each case! Cost me about a quid for four cases last time - wroked a treat, even thought our cases were bog-standard navy blue!!!!!! Wwe've had pink, orange and the last time was gold - trying to decide what to go for this time!!!!!!:smooth:

We have webbing straps with our names on (as we have bog standard navy blue cases!) but I need to get some more now :)

Also we have global bag tags which hopefully would help if our bags went missing, although I would hope we'd never have to use them :teeth:

Do they ship to the UK now then Kaylee ? Last time I looked at the DIS Shop they didn't :(

We have a couple of lime green DIS luggage tags :)

We have luggage straps with our names embroidered on them and just as an added extra we also have tartan ribbon on the handles.
