Suggests for April Vacation needed

In know WDW. BUt we'll be there in Nov and again in Feb and the budget can't take April too. Actually, I just found out my sister from Ohio has Easter week off, just like us. So if we get together it will be 4 adults and 3 childen ages 7-9. We're in Western Mass and she's in Ohio so trying to find someplace within a days travel for each of us. Considering Williamsburg. Any other ideas?

I think Williamsburg is an excellent idea. Don't know if Busch Gardens is open yet, check their website www.buschgardens.com

The weather here in Virginia is usually very nice that time of year.

Here is another vote for Williamsburg... I visited about 15 years ago and still remember it well, it made such an impression!! I can't wait to go back... I just keep getting sidetracked by WDW!

My family just got back from DC and there is alot to do downtown as other areas near by ie...great falls park, zoo, canals.....

Many many many moons ago, we did a family trip to DC, Williamsburg and BG over April School Vaca. Everything was open.

The only real adventure was that since we 'were on vacation' we totally missed the daylight savings Spring Forward. We arrived at Nat'l Airport with 7 minutes to spare before our flight. *phew* but, we made it.

How far do you want to drive? The beach is always nice that time of year and you will miss spring breakers if you go to a remote type one. Or you could come my way and visit the Smokies!

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm really leaning towards DC or VA. That's about the farthest I want to drive (We're about 9-10 hours from Richmond) Beach sounds good, but I hear the water is pretty cold that time of year. Could do the Mountains, but probably would have to be Blue ridge to keep to the one day drive away rule. Any other ideas?
