We are a party of 8, 3 adults, 2 11 yr olds, and 3 kids. We are looking for 2 more dinners for our trip, we have Coral Reef and Chef Mickey but are wanting two more that will be nice for the kids. We would prefer a buffet or family style since the 2 11 yr olds are kinda pickey eaters and would have to order off the adult menu.

We have park hoppers and we are on the reg. dining plan.

Thanks ahead of time!

Dana

I would check out Whispering Canyon Cafe or Ohana.

Also, Cystal Palace in MK. They have Winnie the Pooh Characters and it is a buffet

Try the buffet at 1900 Park Fare @ The Grand Floridian. Lots of choices for the picky ones, decent food for the adults, and the characters will keep the young ones entertained!

Enjoy....

What about the Biergarten in Germany? It has been one of my DS's favorite since our first trip when he was 8 (and a very picky eater at the time!). The stage show is fun and the buffet has a lot of options.

1) Whispering Canyon Cafe
2) Trails End
3) Sci-Fi: Not a buffet or family style but they have food for picky eaters (we have one too) and the atmosphere is cool

I would say Ohana at the Poly and 1900 Park Fare at the GF. Ohana is family style and has activities for kids (coconut races, the limbo) and the food is awesome ;). And 1900 Park Fare is a character buffet, which will keep the kids entertained....plus has plenty of variety for everyone :).

Boma at AKL would be fantastic. I also agree with the above post, Biergarten would be fantastic.

Oh My! It may be even a harder decisions now! LOL Thanks so much for everyones suggestions! I NEVER would have thought about Biergarten, but I think we may try it.

I noticed LeCellier, lol. That and Ohana were the ones we took off our list in favor of more kid friendly food. I want something that will be totally fun for the kids.

We did Ohana last time and we loved it but my DD who requested that we go back, said she didnt eat any of the food, it was all to different! LMBO! She should have said something, I think that is one of the places you can get something different for the kids right?

Thanks, Dana

What about 50's primetime cafe? Not a buffet but good down home food and the servers pretend to be mom's aunt's cousins. But no elbows on the table and you must eat your green beans to have dessert.

Another vote for PT50s here! My whole fam loves that place (not the 3y old, but she hates all restaurants):confused3

Also check the menu for dinner at LTT in the MK
:goodvibes :thumbsup2

Wispering Canyon Cafe and Ohana. Most resturants will however accomodate picky eaters...I have 3 myself!

Crystal Palace definitely has kid-friendly options. And if you're in the park, you can do a late lunch/early dinner (which has awesome desserts, including an ice cream machine and sprinkles). We've always enjoyed their lunch buffet; it's a beautiful restaurant, yet festive for the kids.

I would consider Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare. Both buffets, both have plenty of options, and both have characters.

Does everyone think that the Dinner is as good as the Breakfast? I know the BF has got great reviews so we were booking it for Breakfast. Could we switch it to dinner?:confused3
