Suggestions needed for MNSSHP costumes for adults...

Wow. I was considering doing Belle with a full ball gown but I don't know, I thought it might be hard to get on the rides, LOL.

Hoop skirt is light, easier to move, not as hot (temperature-wise) but getting on ride will require practice. I've seen pictures of someone dressed as Giselle, very full ball gown with hoopskirt and somehow managed to squeeze into Space Mountain! It can be done but not easy. Crinoline or petticoat is easier but can be hot if there are too many layers. You can always do a knee-length or tea-length version of the dress.

I'm going as Elsa, Elsa-inspired, anyhow. A-line, knee length blue dress. I'm debating whether or not to do the cape. Cape always looks cooler floor length. Doing it shorter would lose that effect

DH also is concerned more about comfort than cuteness :rolleyes2 (Party pooper!) so I was thinking either superhero t-shirts with the little capes, or Mr and Mrs Potato Head t-shirts. I like the pirate idea - I might look into that.

Any ideas for a 6 month pregnant lady??!! That will be me this year! Hope OP doesn't mind me asking!

Good topic and I have enjoyed reading your posts. We have some very imaginative Dis members. i'm also appreciative of all for staying on topic. I know many other Board members will enjoy this thread also.

My DW & I were Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum last year. Red shorts, yellow t-shirt with a white collar attached to it, blue bow tie, red baseball cap, & black sneakers. It was pretty easy to piece together and we were not hot walking around.
