Suggestions for sleeping with someone who snores

Thanks all. I will try the silicone ear plugs and also look into the white noise machine. No - she is not a lighter sleeper and I am alwasys the last to fall asleep. Last time I said never again and I had ear plugs (but they were just a box of the inexpensive foam ones) so will look for the silicone.

I use a sound app on my phone. Works wonders when we travel. We all sleep with box fans at night and the app has a very similar sound and its loud enough for us. It blocks my snoring husband and obnoxious tour groups that stay up until 3am+ running around right outside of our rooms...

My Hubby is a HORRIBLE snorer!! You can hear him a room away! On our last Disney trip we got snowed in so we were in the Wilderness Cabins for 2 nights. He got sick so he couldn't use his CPAP machaine. DS11 year old slept on the couch & I took the Murphey bed b/c he was so loud!! This past year he got a CPAP machine. It's wonderful! I still wear the ear plugs b/c I'm a light sleeper, but I don't have to go to sleep before him anymore. Over the years I've used ear plugs, sleephones, (a fleece headband with flat ear phones. It plugs into a MP3 player or smartphone) & a white noise machine. I always had to go to sleep before him.
I highly recommend ear plugs & a white noise machine. I use a free app on my phone. I read on these boards you could also put the clock radio in the room in between stations so you can hear the static.
Good Luck!!
