Suggestions for restaurant for 6-year old girl's birthday

I had thought that CRT would be the no brainer but then have read some reviews that there tend to be so many girls celebrating birthdays there that there aren't any individual references made by the characters or staff.

Any other suggestions? Maybe the Askerhaus? Would prefer a character meal, but it doesn't need to be a Princess character meal.

1900 Park Fare gives them a special placemat and a birthday tierra. I don't have girls, so I didn't really catch all the other details. But it sounded like they really went out of their way to make it special there.

I've seen a lot of people on the cake thread get cakes delivered to 1900 Park Fare.

If you do a search, I'm sure you'll find more info on it.

I am taking my DD to Princess Dining in Norway for her 6th birthday. If you want something more individual for her, you could order her a special cake no matter where you decide to go.

I think Chef Mickey's is great for any age child the child gets a special placemat and they celebrate each child's birthday at the same time the child also gets a cupcake, my daughter celebrated her birthday there when she was six and Mickey wrote happy birthday in her aughtograph book.

Do most restaurants in Disney celebrate kids' birthdays at one time (i.e. a common B-day song)? If so, do they get the birthday boy/girl to stand up or is there any way to identify them to the people in the restaurant, or do they do anything else other than sing a common song?

My ds6 chose the California Grill for his bday celebration. They did a really nice job, they took his photo, put it on a nice card with fireworks, sang to him and gave him a special pin, dessert (although we had ordered a cake as well) etc.... We went early (we did not watch wishes from there) and it worked out wonderfully.
Have heard great things about 1900 Park as well.
