WDW dining is also one of my favorite experiences on our trip. However, last time we overdid it! We had PS's for B, L, and Dinner and it was just overwhelming. We had them fairly organized but they always interrupted our day pretty signifantly.

I am taking my parents in Dec and this is their first time!

My must-do's are California Grill, Prime Time, Sci-Fi, Hoop Dee Doo. Anything other suggestions???? I am thinking about not having Dinner and Lunch out in the same day. I may however have lunch on HDD day because I don't care much for the food there.

We normally have breakfast and a late/lunch early dinner which was perfect for us. Well... last month we went with another couple who were used to eating breakfast, lunch AND dinner. Oh my - I have never eaten so much. We would find ourselves still full from lunch going into dinner. We had to cancel sometimes. And we are not talking a sit down lunch. We had a sit down breakfast, quick lunch and sit down dinner. It was toooooooo much. We learned and will stick with what works for us. :o

Our must dos include:

Breakfast - Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's
Lunch/Dinner - 50s Prime Time (excellent), Rainforest Cafe, Mama Melrose's, Concourse Steakhouse

P.S. The all day snacking doesn't help either!! ;)

If they are seafood lovers, I would recommend Flying Fish! Have you ever been to AKL? The atmosphere is incredible, and Boma and Jiko are good places to try.

We usually have a light breakfast (bagel or cereal), lunch around midday (either counter service or sitdown) and a late dinner (anywhere between 7-9PM). This works out pretty well for us.

I agree with everyone. I never really went to a meal feeling hungry which made the meal less enjoyable plus it inturups your entire day trying to make PS's.

I have been to WDW going on 6 times this year but have not been to AKL. I will be sure to go there.

I love the restaurants you mentioned except I may skip Rainforest. Dh and I used to live in Nashville, TN about 4 miles from Rainforest. Needless to see, we were frequent visitors so now I am a little burnt out on RF.

Keep 'em coming!

BTW, I have heard Flying Fish is wonderful!

Good idea about not making PS's for lunch and dinner on the same day. We had the discovery magic plan this summer and had sit down meals for both lunch and dinner. It is too time consuming. Also, another great restaurant is Le Cellier in Epcot.
