Dh and I got our printer to print on some of my vellum, but not all of it. Its like it didn't want to recognize the fact that something was in the printer. Maybe due to its lightness? I'm not sure. I just am wondering if anyone else has this issue or what you might do? I loved using the vellum and it made my layout so pretty, but fighting with the printer for a half hour...not so much fun. :scared1: Any help would be great, thanks!

Does your printer have a manual feed option? That may help, if you push it along.

Or, lightly adhere it to a regular piece of paper or card stock and see if that helps to feed it.

Good luck!

I have to use the manual feed as mentioned above to print on velum. Jennifer's suggestions are the same ones I would have.

If you are having trouble with the print quality than look and try to print it on trasparency setting. If you don't have one of those then choose the lightest ink setting you have as it will dry more easily.

Also some velums have a smoother side and a rougher side- the rough side is better for printing.
