Suggestions for our Wedding Anniversary

Hi All,

Thought I would tap into your vast knowledge of the WDW experience!!

We have been to WDW several times now but have never been when a special occaision occurs?!

It will be our 16th Wedding anniversary 18th June 2010 and we will be at WDW - we have two children aged 11 and 8 - what would you guys recommend?! How do you let Disney know its a special occaision?

We are staying off site.

I would reccomend booking a table at the California grill on a night when wishes is on, we did this for my birthday ( with kids similar in age) and had a lovely time

Definitely get some 'Happy Anniversary' pins too!

We also did California Grill for our 25th wedding anniversary last year. We mentioned this on booking and we were really lucky to get a couple of surprises at the table.

If we are at WDW for our anniversary we too eat at the California Grill, we time the meal so we are there for Wishes and we go and watch it out on the viewing platform (we are doing this again for our anniversary next month.) We have it noted on our reservation that it is our anniversary and we also wear the Anniversary pins in the parks.

How do you go about getting the pins/badges?

The California Grill looks lovely - my children are well behaved so would you think this is a suitable evening venue for them aswell??

we are going for our 1st wedding anniversary n just over a month and have booked yachtsman steakhouse but am looking at a private dinner at the grand floridian

We are also having our top layer of our cake made up as well

We also have the wishes dessert party booked as well
