My family will be visiting WDW from Wed. Nov 3- Wed. Nov 10, 2004. After much research I have determined that this is New Jersey's vacation week. Does anyone have any advice (positive) as to making this upcoming trip as enjoyable as possible.

Thank you for any suggestions, past experience plans that worked etc.

it was also election day week & Veterans day that week so lots of folks there. We definately used early entry at MK & got more done during first couple hours than rest of day. The worst was at MK. Other parks didnt' seem as bad. Make PS reservations so you aren't stuck with no where to eat.
Have fun!!

Thank you. I know it will be a busy week. However, I think we can go with the flow. Any suggestions about early entry days - should I try to enter the parks on the early days or do just the opposite - any suggestions?

Again, thanks for your response.

MY DH AND I ARE ALSO GOING THAT WEEK 11/4-11/13 FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY.
YES...IT'S JERSEY WEEK, ELECTION WEEK, AND VETERNS DAY
AND PROBABLY SOAP OPERA WEEKEND
OK, FOR THE GOOD NEWS...
JERSEYITES SHOULD BE GONE BY THE 7TH
EVERYONE NEEDS TO STAY HOME AND VOTE ON ELECTION DAY INSTEAD OF GOING TO WDW
USE EE, FASTPASS AND WE SHOULD BE OK
AVOID MGM ON SOAP WEEKEND
BY THE WAY, DON'T FORGET IT'S ALSO EPCOT'S FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL
GO WITH THE FLOW AND ENJOY, BREAK YOUR PARK DAYS UP, DON'T SPEND ALL DAY IN ONE PARK...GO BACK TO HOTEL, SHOPPING, ETC.
MAKE THOSE PS EARLY

AND ABOVE ALL ENJOY, AFTER ALL YOU'RE IN WDW AND NOT AT WORK! :earsboy:

Thank you as well for the support. PS most places I can only make reservations 60 days out. So, I must wait for that - I am assuming?

Just think it can be worse! You could be going in July!!LOL:crazy:

You'll bein Disney and you'll have a great time. The weather will be great, usually in the low 80's. Just use Fast Pass, use Early Entry and make sure you make those PS's!! Yes most are 60 days out. Go to the home page of this site and there is a calculator for telling you when to make those PS's. I would break up the day with either lunch at a resort next to the park you're at, or just go to the EE park early, then as it gets more crowded go to another park. Avoid MGM on SS weekend if you don't like crowds. However, I have heard that although that day is crowded, there usually are no lines for the attractions. Most people are there for the soap stars. I would also get a guide book and discuss with the family what are their "must see" attractions. Make those your priority when you get there and the rest you could just take in at a leisurly pace.

Just try to relax and take in the wonderful atmosphere. My best memories of past trips are those when I was people watching on a bench. Or when I rocked my baby to sleep in a shaded area at Epcot while watching DH and DD playing on the Viking ship at Epcot. It truely is a magical place, crowded or not. it's what you make of it!
