My MIL has decided to come on our trip with us this summer. This means DH and I will have a night out ALONE!

We will be at the BWV's and need some suggestions on where the two of us should dine.

I would like it to be within walking distance, so I'd prefer any of the resorts around the boardwalk or at Epcot.

We don't like anything too unusual. Our favorites are Mexican (but we are already planning to eat at San Angel Inn as a family), steak, and seafood.

Any suggestions?

My DH ate at Flying Fish at Boardwalk on a business trip. He loved it.

We ate outside at the Crown and Pub one year and caught Illum. while were eating. That was fun.

Although it's been years, we enjoyed the restaurant in TG in Japan.

My in laws are staying with us a couple of nights, so we get a night out too :bounce: We are going to ride the monorail for a drink in Poly, then a drink in GF, and then a PS at California Grill. Hopefully we'll be able to see the fireworks.

Have fun!

Thanks for the suggestions!

Having drinks at all the monorail resorts sounds like a lot of fun!

Have a great trip!

We did our dinner without kids under the same circumstances at Marrakesh. Although we loved it, it isn't the World's most romantic restaurant.

(Grandparents are the best - everyone should bring along a set)

The best place for a combination of Steak and seafood would probably be the Flying Fish.
The very best steak can be had at Shula's--but I'm not certain how they do with their seafood offerings. Sometimes a restaurants "non specialty" entrees can be quite good--as at the Flying Fish. Their steak (tho I've never had it )is said to be excellent. So it may be at Shula's the seafood will be good too.

As the good Uncle stated, Shula's has the BEST steak. If that's what you both want then there is no other choice in that area. We will be thee in about three weeks and are going to try the FF, based the recommendation of UR and others and that may be a good choice.

But for steak, go to Shula's!

Thank you all for your replies :).

I'm going to print out the suggested restaurants menu's for DH and I to review.

Thanks again!

Teresa
