I am in Disney now and it is HOT. 93 hot (hot for may at least). I sweat from my head so I have been wearing the visor every day and been fine. Also wearing full makeup because I am strange about that (I like to see myself in the mirror looking somewhat like me even when hot). Mac makeup - my eye makeup has been perfect every day after 12 hours and most of my face is good (I wear studio fix powder foundation). Since my hair tends to go 'fro when sweaty or humid, I have been going with it and curling it each morning then spray the heck out of it - then into the visor. Remarkably I have had a decent look at the end of each day (10 - 12 hour days). Now I started with brown hair with highlights and am going back blonde I think from it baking in the sun with all that hairspray
but it looks good!
but it looks good!
. I also like the evian spray for refreshers... So a nice routine would be... sunscreen in the morning, and then when one begins to get hot and sweaty, break in a shaded or air conditioned area and when skin begins to stop pouring, use the blotting sheets (or toliet seat covers
) as they do not work well if your skin is wet or sweaty. Then when leaving the shade or air-conditioning and skin begins to feel that dratted again, spray on a little bit of the evian spray and you should feel very refreshed and less greas-ified and gross. Thats my plan for August!
A good haircut about a week or two before the trip helps a lot too. For the frizzies, I have found two products that work well - John Frieda's Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon (in drugstores) and Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream (a bit pricey, but a little goes a LONG way; my tube has lasted me quite a while). And I sprinkle baby powder or cornstarch(Johnson & Johnson lavender-scented) on before I head outside; helps keep me a little cooler.
