It looks like our trip will be either the first or second week of December.. My then-to-be 8 year old DGD will be on this trip and she seems to have lost her fascination with the princesses - but still adores Mickey & Minnie..

I'd like to do one character meal but don't know which would be best.. I'd prefer a late breakfast or maybe even a lunch - so what would you suggest? The last time we were all there together (2001) we did the Liberty Tree dinner(and did not like the food at all) and lunch at the Garden Grill (which we LOVED, but I understand they have changed their menu now)..

Recent experiences and suggestions, please?

Thanks!

Chef Mickey's is a lot of fun. It's in the contemp. so it easy to get to from mk or epcot for a late breakfast. We hit one of those parks first, and then head over at about 10:30 or so. Enjoy!

I would recommend Chef Mickeys. They do all 3 meals as character meals and Mickey & Minnie are both there. My kids love this character meal and the buffet is pretty good :thumbsup2 . It is definitely a restaurant that we repeat on trips!

What about Chef Mickey's? If she loves Mickey and Minnie  I'd take her there!
:cool1: We enjoyed ourselfs there in August and no complaints on the food, we had dinner there!

Thanks all! I was thinking Chef Mickey's too, but was hesitant until I heard some recent reviews..

Now how soon do I need to book that?

Ditto for Chef Mickeys, great breakfast, fun atmosphere, loads of character interaction

We like Chef Mickey's as well, has become a MVMCP tradition of ours! Garden Grill - have tried it several times and the service was horrible and not being a catfish lover didn't help either.
CM can get booked depending on the time of year so as soon as you know your dates I would call.

For a late breakfast how about CapeMay at the beach Club-Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale or for lunch Crystal Palace in the MK-it is Pooh & friends but we have always enjoyed the lunch buffet it is a nice break from the parks.

I "second" what KAE posted. We actually prefer these places over CM's.

My dd is 7 1/2 and is more of a "MICKEY & MINNIE FAN" than a princess fan. I know CP has Pooh & friends but the food is excellent there. Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale are at Cape May Cafe (in beach gear).

CM's does not serve lunch, just breakfast and dinner. While it is good for character interaction we have been less than thrilled with the food (both at breakfast and dinner).

If she loves Mickey then Chef Mickey's is the place!
