The GF has two levels of concierge service. Are you in the main building concierge or Sugar Loaf lodge concierge?
If you're in the main building, the concierge rooms are located on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floor. You gain access by inserting your room key into the slot in the elevator. The 3rd floor has the concierge staff, the 4th is where the lounge is located and the 5th floor is all rooms. We stayed in room 4404, which was on the 4th floor. It had the 2 double beds and a daybed. The view of the castle was great. There are about 10 rooms on the 3rd floor and 10 on the 4th floor that overlook the marina and the castle. They are located the furthest from the main elevators and concierge lounge, but we're talking only a little extra walking. If you're down in that wing, there is a service elevator that will bring you right out at Gasparilla's grille and the marina. It was very convenient.
If you're in the lodge, you are not going to get a very good MK view. Your choices are the courtyard/pool or the marina. If you lean out over your balcony, you might be able to see the fireworks and the castle. The lounge and the concierge staff are all located on the 1st floor and you need your room key to gain access to the building.
Here's a pretty good site that I found with some more GF information and pictures,

Useful Concierge Info. The first post has the contact information for the GF pre-planning staff.
