Suggestions for a Fan that is Permitted...

I will be on the Dream again in a few weeks (Yay!!) and would like to bring a small, electric (NOT Battery operated), desk top fan. Any suggestions on a particular brand they will accept and not confiscate. TIA!

I am no help as they let me mom on with her very visible 15" rotating electric fan. I did not notice it until we were at the security check point as I was to the back of our group and she at the front. I was prepared to either have to run it back to the car or tell her I would buy her a new one once we got back when I saw it. They let her on with it and she used it next to the bed.

they sell fans which plug into usb port....they look like the hand-held battery fans and might pass through unnoticed....maybe.
anyhow, they move SOME air, not much

If you are looking for the fan noise, there are apps which have fan noises...and rain noise...and who knows what else. I'm afraid to search, I blush easily

I'll be using an app called "White Noise", but I'd like some actual air blowing since we have an indoor cabin and I'm claustrophobic. Not the best choice I'm realizing as the date gets closer!

We've been on 6 cruises with our fan. The first four, I packed it in my suitcase with no problem. The 5th cruise, they took it out of my suitcase and returned it 2 days later. Our 6th cruise, we decided to bring it in a carry on. It went through the scanner and they never even asked to see it. So the answer to your question, who knows.
