Suggestions for "2nd Resort"

We (DW, Me, DS4, DS2) are owners at BLT and will be visiting WDW in October. We are considering trying a different DVC resort. At the moment, we are planning to check availability for a studio at VWL. We plan to spend the majority of our time in the parks at MK and Epcot. What thoughts do you have about picking another resort for this trip? Thanks.

If you plan on time at Epcot, I recommend BCV or BWV. You will love the location and quick access to 2 parks!
BCV has a better pool IMHO.

Depending on when you are going in October you may run into F&W festival...which means limited availability at BC and BCV. Depending how long your trip is, rather than switch resorts, maybe try pool hopping to another one to get the feel of it. Packing and repacking kids and suitcases just doesn't sound fun to me....but maybe that's just me.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the VWL this past December. It was so relaxing, and I loved the "woodsy" feel to the resort. The thing I really enjoyed was the boat to the MK. It just added to the laid back feeling of the area.
I've also stayed at the BC villas as I love being able to walk to Epcot and DHS.
As another poster indicated October is the Food and Wine Festival in Epcot so you may not be able to get anything at the BCV.
I really think you will enjoy VWL.
The nice thing about there being different DVC resorts is the chance to try out the different themes.
