Arriving on a Sunday with my hubby, daughter & 3 of her older teen friends. Our family typically does Boma as a first night dinner to start off our trip but I don't think some of the teens in our group will care for the majority of the food. We do not have park access that night so I was looking for suggestions on a dinner to start our trip off. Not looking for fancy, any suggestions?

In Disney Springs they might either enjoy Ragland Rd with the Irish dancing/live music or Splitsville for bowling and a lot of basic food choices. Whispering Canyon at WL might be another good choice, especially if they play up the antics that they supposedly toned down, or Ohana if you can get a reservation

I agree, this has grown to be one of our top favorites, our kids then 10-13 fell in love with it and now 20-22 we still enjoy it. Raglan always provides a good meal, the wait staff is pleasant, and it's just fun!

Agree with PP. Wolfgang Puck Express is a great counter service.
Otherwise, just check on app when you land to see what is available at DIS Springs.
I've learned the hard way not to make an ADR for my arrival night.

Exactly. After we check in at our resort it's a lot more relaxing to just head over to Disney Springs and grab some great food with no reservation needed. Blaze Pizza, Deluxe Burgers or the daily poutine are other great options at Disney Springs.

Wolfgang Puck Express has become our first night tradition for us.

It's not really my thing, but the kids might like Rainforest Cafe. Or consider the Disney Food truck too.

Our DS16 and DD14 love Raglan Road! They also love Boma and 'Ohana, but I wouldn't take most of DD's friends there because they don't eat much. Our kids love to eat!

What resort are you staying at? Last summer when we stayed at Pop, the pizza in the food court was awesome ! Was easy to do and we were back at the pool shortly after eating. You may consider this at the food court of the resort you are staying at.

Depending on where you are staying.... ESPN Club @ Boardwalk and then walking around the Boardwalk would likely be fun for teens. I'm pretty sure ESPN club doesn't take reservations so if your travel plans go haywire... no worries!

I agree with the PP's, Raglan Road is a lot of fun and DS would probably be fun for the teens to walk around. Or, perhaps Chef Mickey's and start the trip off meeting the Fab Five and riding the monorail?

My teens are excited about trying The Edison in DS on our next trip - the theming looks awesome. My 25yo is pretty excited about it too!

I would just around the resort. My daughter loves getting the light up pool drinks ( she is 17yrs old).

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I hadn’t even considered Disney Springs options and forgot about Garden Grove. I will look into all of your choices. Thanks!!

I would think teens might like Splitsville. They have a large, varied menu and maybe bowling after. Also House of Blues is very good and they have live music on the porch some evenings.

Another vote for Splitsville. It’s fun, ever if you don’t bowl, it’s a fun atmosphere. And the food is good.

Older teen girls?

Polite Pig or Blaze Pizza and then Sprinkles cupcakes or the gorgeous creations at Amorette’s for dessert, no ADR necessary.

I'm not a fan of DS but teen girls LOVE to shop so I'm sure they would get a kick out of it. I would probably do Blaze and let them browse the stores.

If it were teen boys I would say Ohana since my teen son can get his money's worth there.

We typically do our first night at DS and we eat at Trex and it puts us in the Disney spirit! They may enjoy Blaze Pizza which is cheap or Deluxe Burger or Splitsville and they can bowl!
