Suggestion: "WDW Explorer" as a smartphone app?

Hope it's okay to post a suggestion here as opposed to news or rumor.

Anyone remember the great "Walt Disney World Explorer" CD-ROM from the mid-90's? I loved it and was always sorry that it didn't continue beyond the two versions that were released way back then. I've just been thinking lately about it and how with some updating it would make a great app for my iPhone. Official apps in the area of Disney Parks are sorely lacking, and WDW Explorer would be a great kickoff to an effort to remedy this shortcoming.

Anyone else? I dunno, I guess I didn't know where to go with the idea and thought if I posted it here it might find the right pair of eyes!

I wasn't familiar with this application, so I looked it up. Something along those lines would make for a reasonably good smartphone app idea -- I imagine that much of the content might be streaming to keep the app size from getting too huge and to allow for easy updating of content.

That said, it doesn't sound like anything Disney would be doing any time soon.

That was great software and something like it would make a great app. It would give people an idea of what to expect on each attraction.
