I am trying to decide on where to eat dinner at a table service restaurant the day we will be in Epcot. I am not sure if we want to eat at epcot or at a Disney Resort. It will be me, my husband, my 5 year old and 8 year old. My husband will eat anything. The rest of us are not adventurous as he is.
What suggestions do you have either in Epcot or at any resort for dinner?

I LOVE Epcot restaurants the most! We get a park hopper just so we can eat there several nights. We've really enjoyed Teppan Edo, Le Cellier, and Biergarten. Chefs de France was pretty good. We've liked Coral Reef in the past but it wasn't good the last trip. Next trip we're doing Via Napoli, Garden Grill, and maybe one of the Mexican places.

We like both. Personally, it is a time thing for us. It takes extra time to walk/ boat transport from Epcot to Epcot resorts. We will eat there on non-park days, but eat at Epcot when there.

Le Cellier - great steakhouse
Aquarium - good seafood
Lots of good restaurants at WS

IMHO....

Going to Epcot and not having a Table Service Meal.....

would be like....

staying at Beach Club and not swimming at SAB....:rotfl:

PS: yes - if you're picky ... check out the menus of course....

We love the WS international restaurants. We too get Park Hoppers for the sole purpose of eating at Epcot for dinner.
There are so many wonderful choices we have trouble narrowing it down.
Look at the menus and see what appeals to your family. None of the restaurants are overly "strange".
Enjoy

Hi there!

If you want 'real' Italian food, (i.e. not the 'North Americanized - food chain like') experience, then I would strongly suggest going to Tutto Italia.

The staff and chefs are from Italy. My family loves it when we go. We've had better in Italy (and my wife is Italian -- so that speaks for itself) but if you're looking for something authentic real food with a great atmosphere to boot I would recommend Tutto Italia at Epcot.

Cheers & have fun!!

If your children are girls, they will love to eat at the Norway pavillon and meet the princesses.

Epcot is our favourite park for eating! We've enjoyed meals at Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Tutto Italia, and Teppan Edo. My kids favourite is Teppan Edo. Also, you can easily walk over to the Beach Club for a buffet dinner at Cape May which is delicious. Check out the menus on allears.net.

In Epcot, with all of the countries, plus other restaurants, AND the resort restaurants, you can LITERALLY get ANY kind of food. Anything from burgers and fries (at Beaches and Cream Soda Fountain in the Beach club perhaps), to Mexican, to French. Depends what you feel like having :) Most restaurants have fairly standard offerings for the kids to make sure they have something to eat. I wouldn't think any of the restaurants have anything too outrageous, so you should be fine :)

I love Epcot dining. You really just can't go wrong there.

Biergarten - probably one of my absolute favorites and, surprisingly, it was for my kids, too. I really didn't want to go to this restaurant AT ALL, but we scheduled it for FIL. It was AWESOME. All of the food was outstanding. Can't wait to go back!

Tutto Italia - pretty standard Italian.

Teppan Edo - fun "show" restaurant. The kids loved it. DH loved the food. I could care less. It wasn't bad at all, just not anything that really inspired me. But the food was good.

Garden Grill - not my thing at all, but "solid" food. The kids would enjoy the characters.

Those are the ones we've been to, and we have a whole score of others scheduled for our next trip. I really think you'll do fine wherever you go.
