Suggestion for a Resort Dinner & an Epcot Dinner

We are adding two days to our spring Disney trip. One is a rest and resort day in the middle of the trip, and the other is an Epcot day. On both days we'll probably have breakfast in our room and lunch at the resort food court or some counter service restaurants in Epcot.

I need some table service dinner ideas, though! We'd like to go to a resort other than our own for dinner on the rest day. Our non-park diner plans already include Disney Springs, Kona, and Beaches & Cream, so a resort other than Poly or Beach Club would be great.

And I am totally open to Epcot dinner suggestions, as well! We almost always eat at Rose and Crown for the Illuminations view, and while I adore that, it might be good to try something else.

Just for background, the dining party would be myself, DH, and our daughter who is three. She'll eat anything and is fine in "grown up" restaurants.

Annnnd.... GO!

Captains Grill in the Yacht Club, we really enjoyed that. In Epcot we like Tepan Edo and Chefs de France in particular

Boma at AKL is great and at EPCOT we love Coral Reef, Chefs, and Le Cellier. We had a lunch at Tutto Italia and I am sure it would be just as good for dinner.

How about Trattoria al Forno in the Boardwalk area as that is walkable from EPCOT? Athough hit or miss at times, another option is Coral Reef as your daughter may enjoy that. As far as resorts go, not sure you would be interested in a signature restaurant or not, but I never miss Narcoosees on any trip and you can view Wishes from there. Makes for a very special evening. There's also Cali Grill!

Teppan Edo in Epcot is a great dining experience and food is lovely. We had a lovely meal at the Wave in the Contemporary

I'm looking forward to Boatwrights at POR and Sanaa at AKL. Epcot was hard for us to narrow down because so many things looked good!

go out the international gateway and eat at flying fish. or biergarden if you have to stay in epcot. those are our two favorite restaurants in the area.

Rose and Crown and Via Napoli are my favorites at Epcot. A little-mentioned, but good, resort restaurant is Olivia's at Old Key West. The Wave, Captain's Grille, and Sanaa are also good resort restaurant options.

The Wave at Contemporary is an underrated venue. Trail's End at Fort Wilderness is good, and you could get your daughter a pony ride!

Not sure where you are staying, but if it's not animal kingdom then definitely go over there for the resort meal. Your daughter will love the animals and Sanaa and Jiko are too of our favorite restaurants.

For Epcot, our only mist do is Via Napoli. Love, love, love their pizza.

I really enjoyed Trattoria al Forno during my September trip. In fact our party loved it so much we went again at the end of our trip. Food and service were fabulous both visits. I highly recommend it. In Epcot we love Chefs de France, Biergarten and Teppan Edo.

Garden Grill is one of my favorites in Epcot and the character interaction is really good. Teppan Edo is a fun place to eat also.

Chef de France is a great choice. Are you doing any Character Dining if not I would try PF 1900 at GF.

As someone mentioned, The Wave at the Contemporary is often overlooked. Food and service were both excellent!

At Epcot, we've really enjoyed Teppan Edo, Chefs de France, and Via Napoli.

If you aren't on the dining plan, head over to Swan/Dolphin for the best food at WDW. We love bluezoo! If you like sushi, Kimonos is great. Il Mulino is also very good.

If you want a WDW resort close by, I'd do Flying Fish or Trattoria al Forno - both good.

If you are willing to travel, I agree with the AKL suggestions. Love Sanaa and Jiko!

In EP, I would do Spice Road or Via Napoli.

We have tried Teppan Edo and enjoyed it but we liked Tokyo Dining more. Tokyo Dining has a lot of different options.

Another vote for these suggestions! These are some of our favorites, too. AKL is awesome and you can try to catch some of the children's activities while there.

We're in the world now, and our two favorite meals this week have been The Wave and Spice Road. Five thumbs up from everyone in our group. I've been to The Wave many times and it has never let me down and the Spice Road was a first for us and really surprised us.
