we are going for 4 nights (14th -18th sept) and i have no idea how to tackle the parks. We are staying at a campsite an hour away so hope to be at dlp on the thursday for about 10am so will have most of that day, and we need to leave at about 1pm on the Monday to catch our ferry home.

We have 2 children who are 4 and 2 (although nearer to 5 and 3), and they are both disney mad after our trip to WDW last year. Our 4 year old is an adrenaline junkie and will ride anything he is big enough for.

so far we have cafe mickey booked for 6pm on our first night, and i would like to do the fantsyland breakfast, blue lagoon, auberge de cendrillion, planet hollywood, ranforest cafe and annettes diner, although not all of them this trip.

I know the weekend will be busier so want to try and get as much done the thursday and friday if possible. We don't plan on leaving DLP to visit anywhere else.

Can anyone suggest me an itinarary or should we just go with the flow?

We went at a similar time last year and it was very quite on Thursday and Friday and the only rides with a large queue was dumbo and peter pan, so I don't think you will need to plan to much.

maybe have an idea of what rides you would like to go on however I find that with my 4 y/o it is hard to have an itinerary as she has her own ideas of what she wants to do, for example we planned to to fantasy land first thing to beat the queues however when we got to the park dd wanted to do buzz and big thunder mountain.

I would also check the height restrictions for your son, so you know what he can ride, I think BTM will be the only "thrill ride" he will be able to do, my daughter just reached the height this year, however we measured her before we went as on our last trip she was upset to be told she could not ride. I find it helps to avoid the rides that she can not go on.

I would definitely suggest going early to fantasyland at the weekend though as the queues here build up very quickly, Also get fast passes for BTM, Buzz and Peter Pan.
Saturday or Sunday are good days to visit the studios as it is less busy than the parks.

I think Big Thunder Mountain is closed when you are going. A real shame because as long as your DS is tall enough that would be the fastest ride to do. Please do check though because it may be opperating on restricted hours/days. He will probably enjoy Dumbo and Magic Carpet ride (in the studios). Also would recommend the Casey Jr train. Rather like a tame BTM. Alheso would suggest the studio tram tour, purely for the canyon section.

Assuming you mean the good morning fantasyland breakfast, that is only available for guests staying in the onsite Disney hotels. The only real benefit is to get on Dumbo a little while before the gates open!

Oops! Just spotted your other thread about BTM being closed! :sad2:
