Wondering if anyone can give any additional info on Sugar Loaf building. On one post it was mentioned that the entire building is Concierge? Is that correct and does that mean every guest staying there has Concierge access?

Also, would those of you familiar with the building do garden or lagoon view (I think both are available). My husband will spend a lot of time on the balcony (weather permitting in January!) so I would hope for some type of view. Had originally thought of staying where we would have a view of fireworks, water parade, etc but am now thinking the convenience of Concierge food available most of the time and not having to schedule every meal (although we are doing the dining plan), might outweight those things.

This is just too many choices!! Appreciate any help!

Yes, all of Sugar Loaf is concierge.

There is no lagoon view in SL only garden. One side of the building faces the courtyard, the other side faces the marina. We've only stayed on the marina side and loved the view. We could also see the fireworks by looking to the right and the reflection on the water of the marina was cool too.

We stayed in the SugarLoaf building many times BEFORE it went to concierge service. We've stayed in 6212 and 6312 - these rooms look onto the pool and at least in the mid 1990s did not have any trees obstructing their views. These rooms were on the corner of the part of the building that juts out and so although they had one balcony, the balcony was open on the end so it gave a much wider panoramic view. These rooms were right by the elevator but we could never hear the elevator to the point that it bothered us. These rooms also overlook the lobby, which when we were there was quiet, but is now where the concierge service is set up. Also, you really had to stick out your head over the balcony and look to the left to see the fireworks, so that might be a consideration.

I didn't even realize you could see the fireworks from the courtyard side. It does make sense though.

The rooms we had were opposite the lobby from you. I think they were 6313 and 6314 but that could be wrong since it makes no sense with your room numbers. Anyway, we had those same two rooms for both our SL stays. I agree the elevator noise was no problem at all. And it was concierge when we stayed there and noise from the lounge was not a problem in the least. Never heard anything.

BTW, the rooms facing the marina that are closest to the main building probably don't have as good a view of the fireworks as the rooms that jut out would block the view somewhat.

It was probably 6313 and 6315, as those would be on the marina side. :) That is kinda strange that you got the same rooms both times! Was one of them accessible?

Yes, the one closest to the elevator was accessible. 6313 I think. It had a couch instead of a daybed so we needed two rooms for our family of 5. The rooms were connecting. The accessible bathroom was beautiful.
