Just wondering if the sugar free desserts are made with artificial sweeteners (i.e. Splenda) or natural sweeteners (apple sauce, agave nectar etc..)? Does anyone know what's in them and if they taste good :scared:.

ETA: I am not talking about fruit options obviously, but on several menus I've read about sugar free options like brownies, cheesecake etc.. and just want to know what is in them as I try and stay away from artificial sweetners.

I'm not sure what sweetener is in them. But they taste yummy. Don't have to eat sugar-free - but often they are even more appealing than other deserts.

I think (but am not certain) that they are made with artificial sweetners like splenda.

And note they are not SUGAR FREE, but NO SUGAR ADDED.

They still have carbs (sugars). My DH ate them most nights and it did cause his sugar levels to go up.

As above, the are "no sugar added." If they are fruity, obviously the fruit has fructose. There are carbs in the flour etc. Bottom line, those that I've tried have been good. In fairness, I was going to order one and the server told me not to--he said it was not good! I had a pineapple upside down cake that was amazing!

Sorry, I don't know what they are made with--but you can certainly ask the head server who will be happy to tell you.

I'm not sure what the sweetners used are, but we actully preferred alot of the no sugar added to desserts to some of the regular ones, and we do not need to be sugar free. One of our family's favorite no sugar added desserts to talk about were the no sugar added sugar cookies!

We would usually order the dessert trio, which came with one dessert that was no sugar added, and that was usually our favorite.
