Does anyone on this board follow sugar busters? I was on this program 3 years ago and lost 30 pounds. Of course I found it again!!
I started following it again on July 1st and I am down 8.5 pounds as of July 16I enjoy this way of eating. I find it kind of a game to reconfigure foods to make them sugar busters friendly. I would love to hear from anyone else that follows sugar busters. Thanks!!!! Oh and I still have over 125 pounds to get rid of.

Sugar busters is similar to South Beach. Does anyone follow that? I am looking for inspirational stories from others. I am new to the W.I.S.H. forums.
Thank you!

Not a single person on the W.I.S.H. follows sugar busters or south beach? Please if you do I would like to hear your success stories. Thanks....

There is a SB thread around here...you may just have to search for it. I have done the Beach--but only to get jump started, not as a way of life. I have a hard time with the "never again" type of philosophies. Is less sugar much healthier? Of course. But I also know myself and that is not how I want to go through life.

I have been calorie counting and watching all of my levels to make sure they are in healthy ranges (carbs, proteins, fats, etc.) and am only 10 pounds from goal. Good luck!

Thank you for your response. 10 pounds from goal fantastic job congratulations!! I have discovered agave nectar it is a natural sweetener made from cactus, sort of like honey. I use it to make brownies and muffins, (made with whole wheat flour) and to sweeten my oatmeal and tea. It is wonderful and keeps me away from regular granulated sugar. It has a very low glycemic index and will not raise your blood sugar. They sell it at Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and I recently found it at Ocean State Job Lot.
I hope the last 10 pounds come off quickly for you.:)
