Orlando

It’s Sunday morning and I’m up bright and early. It’s a gorgeous day again ! The tickets for Cliff’s 50th Anniversary concert go on Pre sale today so I logged on, only to find out the site had crashed and was going to be down for a while, so decided to wait and try again once in Orlando. The roads were quiet and it took barely the 2 hours to get to the Hampton Inn. Everyone showered, I got my tickets for Cliff, then we had a drive out to look at SSR. (I do wish I was staying there this year, it looks gorgeous).

Monday

We’re off to Sea World today. Up early and went to Sizzlers for breakfast. Sea World is one of my favourite Parks - I could spend all day with the Dolphins. Took tons of photos again, but heat and humidity were very high today and we had to keep stopping for drinks (at the Anheiser Busch place of course).
Iain fancied steak buffet tonight so off we went to Sizzlers again (it’s one of his favourite restaurants).

Tuesday

Today we are golfing at Palm golf course (well they are !!). I bought a book to read and sat at the 19th hole. The Americans are so friendly though, so I spent more time chatting than reading. Golf over (think they played quite well), we then decided to go to Florida Mall and Premium Outlets, where I bought my first ever pair of Crocs (they are ever so comfy). Decided to eat at Mall tonight as by now we were starving and the Bourbon Chicken looked so tempting. No pics today (so do I really believe that they got below par on this course?

Wednesday

Today is our meet at the Rose & Crown at Epcot. Got into the Park fairly early and headed straight for Soarin’. There was no wait and we got on straight away. It was roasting again so we walked slowly round the Worlds then Iain left us as he had a fast pass for Mission Space (which we don’t particularly like), and we were about to meet our friends then anyway. Roy and Kay, with their 2 girls Carli and Jodie, Roy’s parents, Mikki and Andrew, and Ron, (Grumpy) and Dopey.

Sue i'm so pleased for you that you managed to get the cliff tickets. Would you say that the Croc's were worth buying & the best buy of your trip.
The photo's were fab.:)

Sue, I love the photo of the dis meet outside the rose & crown. Sound like a great holiday so far :thumbsup2

Another great few days Sue :thumbsup2

SSR looks amazing. I would be worried that I didn't want to leave the resort if I stayed somewhere so nice

Lovely start to the Orlando part of your trip. The meet sounds like it was fun.
