Considering a quick trip up. Any advice from you helpful people on a cheap hotel/motel (with family -- not "by the hour", please!). Would be going to Science North & new Mining museum with kids.

Thanks.

Hello, I lived in Sudbury for 5 years and go there often for visits and hockey tournaments, so here is where I would stay. There is a Travelodge at 1401 Paris Ave., about a 5 minute walk from Science North. It has an indoor pool and a decent restaurant. There is also a Travelway Inn on Paris right across the street from Travelodge. I don't think it has a pool, but I think there is a little restaurant. Just recently we stayed at a Super 8 at '4 corners' (an intersection in Sudbury), about a 5 minute drive from Science North. It was very nice, clean, no pool or restaurant, but in the same lot as a Tim Hortons. Any questions about Sudbury, or directions feel free to ask. I was just there on the weekend for a friends wedding.

We stayed recently at the Howard Johnson Plaza in Sudbury. It has an indoor pool & was nice. The best part was we didn't pay for it...we used Petro Points (45,000) and stayed for free!

Looks like we're not going to make it there this summer after all -- juggling several other sudden changes around here. But now I'm better prepared for a possible Fall visit or next summer. Thanks again for quick responses.

Please help! Has anyone boarded a pet, or know of someone who has boarded a pet in Sudbury? The only kennel I can find in the city itself is the Best Friends Pet Centre behind Lockerby Animal Hospital. I'd feel better if I had recommendations. Thanks!!
