My ADR day is this Sunday, May 31 (for Aug 29 - Sept 7). I don't think I'll be able to be on phone right at 7am as I"ll be with DD at the rink. I'll be home around 10am. Just wondering how successful I"ll be with ADRs 3 hours after the lines open? I've read good and bad posts about times left if you don't call right at 7. Have things died down now that first week of Free Dining over?

i called right at 7 and got put through. I did get everything i wanted, had to tweek a day or two as i didnt get times i wanted and now 4 days later still tweeking my schedule & canceling & make other reservations. I think i have it to where i want it to be now. You may have a hard time getting chef mickey at a reasonable time for dinner, but they have now added lunch so that may help a bit. I guess its hard to predict what is going to happen just have backups. You may not be totally satisfied with what you get and have to rearrange while doing this (very confusing)
but for the most part you will have your reservations set and you can always figure it out later and rearrange something that you dont think would work out. Like i said i made reservations a few days ago and still making adjustments which have actually turned out for the better and the times are pretty much reasonable on everything.

Who knows? I called at 7am, 90 days out and didn't get two of the ADRs we watned. We were able to get our second choices so we are fine.

I called at 7:30am on Tuesday for my ADR's and managed to get everything that I wanted. I called back last night at 8:00pm to do a little tweaking and got what I wanted then too. I am still trying to get some better times, so I will be calling in the evening, I got through much faster.

I called at 9am...got everything I wanted....will try to change some times a bit but if I'm not able not going to worry about it. I refuse to stress over vacation!!! Kinda defeats the purpose!! It all works out in the end. And not putting a specific piece of food in my mouth at a specific time will not take away my Disney fun!! :rotfl: Have that attitude and you'll be fine!!:goodvibes

I think it depends on what you're looking for. If you want the Fantasmic Dinner package it'll be tough. Le Cellier may be tough, too. Most of the rest will be available, maybe not at the time/day of your choice.

I wouldn't worry too much. My travel agent did do it later on in the day and got pretty much everything I wanted (which included quite a number of hard to get ADRs). As long as you are a bit flexible (with times/dates etc.) you should be fine.

someone else posted that they forgot and called at 2 pm today and got everything they wanted within 30 min, just had to swap one day. I think the first few days of free dining were pretty bad with ADR's, but now it seems to be going more smoothly.

I called yesterday around 4:00 Florida time and got through in less than 30 minutes and no problems with the ADRs. That was about the 4th or 5th time I've called. All other times were at weird times in the afternoon with no hold times.

Last weekend my husband surprised me when he told me that he booked a long-weekend trip for the two of us to Disney. We will be celebrating the twenty-year anniversary of our first date (a little corny, I know). After I got over the initial shock, I realized that we are going in just under two months...well after the 90 day mark. I did not try for CM, CRT, or Le Cellier this time. I'm sure that my story would be a little different if I had, but I was able to get everything that I tried for. We will be eating lunch at 50's Prime Time and dinner at the Turf Club, Chefs de France, and California Grille. The lunch reservation is for 11:55. The dinner reservations are all in the 6:00 hour. I was really pleased.

Have fun and good luck with your ADRs.

I called at 8:30 am on my 90 day mark and got everything I wanted including Le Cellier

I called at 7am on my 90 day mark...couldn't get half of my "first choice" ADRs (Sci-Fi, Chefs de France, Rose and Crown) and I was flexible with the times and dates. Fortunately, I had back up choices and seemed to have better luck with those.

It seems like the people having problems are going during free dining. I leave WDW 5 days before free dining so I was able to get what I wanted easier.

I called the second day of FD and called about 10:30am ET - I just couldn't get up at 4am PT! Anyway, I got everything I wanted except LeCellier, Fantasmic dinner, and I had to switch days for Tusker breakfast. Everything else was exactly what we wanted!

I called yesterday at about 2.30pm here in the UK (9.30am in Orlando???) and got everything I wanted including Le Cellier.

Because I have a split stay, I had to make a call on Sunday and then one again on Thursday.. On Sunday, I called right at 7am and was on hold for almost an hour - for Thursday, I called at 7am and got right through.. so, IMO, it doesn't matter if you call right at 7am on Sunday cause you'll probably be on hold for awhile anyway:happytv:

I called LAst Sunday at 9:30 am and got everything I wanted at close to the time I wanted without a problem. the system was a little slow but I was making 10 ADR's. Took about 15 minutes on hold and 25 minutes to reserve. I should say that unless you want LeCellier or CRT, you should be good to go. Just be flexible on times and days!

I wont be able to call in to make my ADR's until the Sep hours are released which could be a week into june my 90 day mark is May 31st, do you think I will have a big problem getting ADR's????:confused3, we are going for 19 days so can be quite flexible, also it doesn't really bother us too much about the times we have lunch / dinner either so hope this is an avantage for us

Restaurant Hours are typically pretty set. I know that you can get Dinner ADR's at DHS even when it's closed. I ate at the Italian Restaurant in Epcot and when we got out of dinner, Epcot was closed for the night. It was cool walking around with hardly anyone there!!!

It's also possible that CM's may have Sept hours by May 31st. I would be worried too much. How much is that phone call from Ireland going to cost!!!!!
