Success with getting Princess Storybook Breakfast (Akershus) last minute?

The breakfast is all booked up for the days we would like to attend. I am wondering what people's experiences are with getting an ADR on a last minute or walk-up basis and, if you got one, what did you actually do to get it. I see that there is a 48 hour cancellation policy, so I would have thought that at least a few spots would come up a couple of days ahead of time.

call within the cancellation period...I have yet to be turned away by doing this....it's no guarantee but there is usually someone who cancels.

I would definitely call while you are there also. Last fall, we cancelled our ADR for dinner while already at WDW. My children decided that they did not want to go back to EPCOT at night--can you believe it? By then, my husband and I were charactered meal out so we were more than happy to agree!!!
