About two weeks ago we decided for sure to go to WDW May 7-14. With the trip just three months away, I figured all the BWV Standard View 1BRs would be gone for that week, but I called MS to check anyway and of course the rep said there were no SVs available (which I expected), and would I like to book Preferred View? I really didn't want to spend the extra points for PV (since it wasn't a Boardwalk View), so after thinking about it, I asked her if any of my days were available for SV that week. She told me that all but two of my days (May 10 and 11) were available, so I went ahead and booked those days and waitlisted for the other two days. Well, my waitlist came through yesterday, so we have a BWV SV 1BR for the whole week! :cheer2:

Hi,

That's great!!! Have fun!!!

Congrats! We did the same thing for April - only had one day of our ressie on wait list and that came through last Friday!! I was shocked that there was still a room available!

I love your dancing Pooh! Where did you get that??

Wow! I just love happy endings. Enjoy your stay. I can't believe you got it this close to arrival date!

Very cool! I'll be taking my first trip home to the Boardwalk May 8-13! Don't forget your lime green!

Hi guys!
If I pass ROFR and close March 30...I'll want to go try out my home resort asap...possibly May. SInce it seemsyou know the 'views' from BWV, what can I expect if I luck out and get a standard view studio?..Is there something I can request that would give me a view of water or something other than cars?

I would rather not use the extra points also..BUT I would love to see what Boardwalk Views were like at night.

Thanks for any tips to this newbie.
