Suburban Drivers/Space for Sofa Question

Can I fit an 84" (7 foot) long sofa in the back of a Suburban?

DD19 is moving to school this week and we thought it could fit in her dad's Suburban. Now we have been told the sofa is longer than we thoguht - anybody know the dimensions of the cargo space inside a Suburban??? TIA!

I'm guessin' you won't be able to.

We have a 2004, and even with the back bench seat folded down, it's not that you wouldn't have the length, I don't think you'll have enough top to bottom room. I just don't see it fitting...

Thanks - what do you think the height is in a Suburban?? How much would we be off by? Any chance it could go sideways and fit? I don't know how "tall" this sofa is, just standard height I'm guessing...

I want to say it is 7 feet, but I have the flip forward 2d row captains, so they take a little space when flipped forward. If folded flat, I get about 6 more inches in length but loose height. It might be 8 feet, but, I would guess that would be pushing it. I dont know if your second row comes out or not. I don't think they do (at least mine does not)

You can fit it length-wise, it is the height that is in question.

If you can take the legs off it may be doable. Measure the height.

We have moved lots of furniture. Frankly I would rent a UHaul so your dd's other stuff can fit.
