I'm really not a picky eater and will try just about anything. The only two things I don't like are potatoes and green peas. I do love steak though, but notice that almost all the restaurants serve them with potatoes. Would it be inappropriate (or rude) to ask for a substitution? I think I might feel sort of weird and don't want to insult the chef (especially since I'm dining at several Signature restaurants this trip). However, I don't eat potatoes. I usually just leave them on my plate, but would rather have another vegetable in their place. I don't particularly care what, just any other veggie (except green peas, of course
). I would have no problem allowing the chef to choose whatever veggie he thought appropriate (just not peas or potatoes
) If it matters, I'm eating at Citricos, Narcoosee, Flying Fish, Yatchsman, Jiko, California Grill, Le Cellier, Kouzzina, Coral Reef, Chef's de France, Tokyo Dining, GF Cafe, Yak & Yeti, Tusker House, and Boma.
