Substituting a 2nd beverage for dessert on QS plan?

Is this allowed? My mom and I are small eaters and were thinking about sharing some counter service meals. We neither one care about dessert and were wondering if we might be able to just grab another beverage instead?

Sometimes...I've been allowed to substitute a bottle of water for a dessert on a QS meal. I haven't gotten a second fountain drink on the other hand, but I haven't asked at many places. In the end, you'll have to ask at each QS eatery to see what they'll let you substitute for the dessert. Sometimes its only things like a piece of fruit or a bag of chips.

We have asked for a cup of ice water too as it's free. I give someone else the fountain drink and I drink the water. What is nice at the food courts is you could get a bowl of fruit as your dessert and it makes a nice side for your meal you split.
