Every reply to every post I have made today, I had to hit stop after hitting submit and waiting - if I waited, it would time out. if I hit stop, then hit submit again, the post was already there, and sometimes people had responded already! This has happened before from time to time, but today is particularly bad.

<font color=navy>Been happening to me, too. I figure it's server stuff. I hit submit, then backspace, refresh, to see if the post has gone through.

I've been keeping a second window open, refreshing on the post I'm replying to. The replies seem to be showing up pretty quickly. WHen they do, I stop the original window....

Probably causing double the traffic, but I'm pretty impatient....:p

I've seen the same thing many different times. When it does this, I can be pretty sure that it isn't going to "register" right away (if ever). By this I mean that my post count doesn't change, the thread isn't bumped to the top of the board and the "Last Post" column isn't updated. In some cases it has registered in 5-10 minutes, in other cases, I don't think that it ever registered even though it always showed up when viewing the thread.

Teri, I do the same thing.

Sometimes it's the only way I can respond to a thread.
